The EEC Board has changed the procedure for forming and maintaining a unified register of certificates and declarations of conformity.
According to the new rules, national registries will include extra product information when the law establishes such conditions:
- ID of the manufacturing location;
- GTIN-code;
- product samples’ customs declaration number;
- information on the periodic evaluation of certified products;
- other information (for example, on the application for certification).
Publishing this information will help trace goods and increase information transparency about the product evaluation.
