On July 31, the EAEU will end the discussion of the draft decision of the EEC Board, which will amend two other decisions: No. 91 of April 24, 2013 and No. 2 of January 16, 2014. These decisions introduced the lists of regulated products for two technical regulations. The first one is for TR CU 004/2011 (low-voltage equipment). The second is for TR CU 020/2011 (electromagnetic compatibility). The discussed draft decision was prepared in order to implement subparagraph “c” of paragraph 2 of the Regulation on the procedure for importing goods into the Customs Union for which mandatory requirements have been established. We remind you that this Regulation was approved by the Decision of the EEC Board No. 294 dated December 25, 2012. The reason for several changes to the lists is simple. From January 1, 2022, a new version of the HS codes comes into force, therefore, the codes from both product lists need to be changed to reflect this. In particular, the commodity codes for the following products will change:

●        ultrasonic devices for clothes washing;

●        air purifiers;

●        kitchen hoods;

●        power supplies, chargers and voltage stabilizers;

●        electric lamps;

●        general purpose lamps;

●        lamps for aquariums;

●        luminaires buried in the ground;

●        spotlights;

●        electric garlands
